I’ll freely admit that before Chris asked me to do this cartoon I’d not heard of “Skittle Parties.” I asked Colleen if she had heard of them, and she said no. Nor had our three kids – currently at the JC, in high school and Junior High. Since children, whether they like to admit it or not, take their cues from their parents, I’m guessing that with these Skittle Parties, consequences of the “Legalize Marijuana,” “If It Feels Good, Do It,” and the “Bang the Gong – Get It On” crowd are being visited on their offspring. The freedom to do you’re own thing shouldn’t be confused with the freedom to ANY thing. Put another way, all of our actions have consequences whether or not it’s politically correct to admit this is so.
