Some day, an admirer of historian Cornelius Ryan, will pen a poignant story of Petalumans struggling to get on with their daily lives in the face of unnecessary traffic congestion and unexpected delays, that might have been alleviated if not prevented all together, save for the short-sighted forces of retrogression who’ve consistently stymied the construction of the Rainier Crossing. It will be called, “A Bridge Too Few.”
