News from the War on Truth, Honesty, and the American Way being conducted by the current President: the eight experts asked by the Obama administration to make recommendations regarding offshore drilling (in the wake of the BP disaster) just came out and complained that Obama apparatchiks inserted a ban on offshore drilling under their signatures in their report...even though they had explicitly recommended AGAINST such a ban as harmful to the Gulf state's economy. I think doctoring an official report may actually be a crime, though I doubt you'll hear much about it from the ever-worshipful media.

Peek-a-boo Preflight Scanning The wizards in Washington DC are pressing for increased, and increasingly invasive, body scanning technology in airports. If you lack the body, or the aspirations, of a centerfold you might want to send your congressperson a strongly-worded note suggesting that TSA personnel spend a little more time actually scrutinizing the individuals crowded in the security lines and less time peering into their x-ray vision, and soon-to-be x-rated, computer monitors.

Democrats Propose Unionizing the TSA

Uniionizing TSA From the point of view of the Senate Democrats promoting the unionization of the TSA, I can understand the appeal of adding 50,000 dues-paying members to their largest PAC, especially since they almost never have to face the typical pre-flight logjam.
