Just came home from watching Edgar Wright’s The World’s End. For those who don’t know, this is the third of the so-called Cornetto Trilogy that began with Shaun of the Dead and continued with Hot Fuzz. One of the things that TWE has to recommend it is it’s cast of fine British actors. While Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are the central characters in all three films, they have to work hard to stay apace with rest of the ensemble in this latest outing. If you’re a fan of Wright, Pegg and Frost’s collaborations this is a must-see. If not, it’s a silly romp with some good gags that goes on too long had has a muddled ending.
