Drawn and Quartered

Cliff Dwellers

Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 5:39 by Steve.Rustad

I received a  copy of Antifragility, the latest book by Nassim Taleb who previously authored the The Black Swan. He writes in the book’s Prologue, “At no point in history, have so many…with no personal exposure, exerted so much control (over the lives of others who are at risk)” That comment brought to mind the blowhards in the Potomac Wind Ensemble, a.k.a., our elected representatives who are so willing for the country to suffer on behalf of the their vendettas or “principles.“

About This Blog

Beginning in January 2013 the Petaluma Chamber of Commerce will run one of my cartoons in their monthly newsletter. As risky as that may be for them, I don’t want to make it more so. With that in mind, please note that  not every cartoon on Petaluma360 appeared in the Chamber newsletter or reflects the views of the PCC. To help separate my personal point of view from that of the Chamber, Miss Petaluma will grace the PCC cartoons. If Miss P is not present in any particular drawing that drawing did not appear in the Chamber newsletter. Or, perhaps, Miss P, like many other River City Stalwarts, disagrees with me on that issue. Never let it be said, that I don’t tolerate dissent. Still, don’t expect me to approve your comments.
