Like “super” models and my hair, local roads keep getting thinner. Since the boulevard bulimia began, the commute time from my home at the north end of town to the movie theater – which was once a reliable 7 minutes – has increased to from 15-20 minutes during the week. As a result, if I have to go downtown during daylight hours, I usually bypass Petaluma Boulevard all together by using West, Howard and 6th street…and I’ll bet I’m not the only one. I wonder if the Oak Hill Nimby’s approve of the increased traffic.
