Good news / bad news – the trestle adjacent to the Applebox is discomposing faster than cotton candy in the rain. Good news because its advancing decrepitude may prompt the dithering officials responsible for it’s fate do more than just put up a decorative railing to discourage sightseers from hurting themselves. Bad news because we have a dangerous eyesore smack dab in the middle of what should a beautiful riverfront promenade – thanks to officials who seem to be relying on the trestle’s advancing decrepitude to seal its fate while they continue to dither.
